Please forgive the delay in posting the results. I am assuming the only reason I haven’t had emails and texts from you all is that you are being patient and kind since you have heard that I did indeed sustain a pretty stout injury on Thursday night. While I could blame what is most likely a torn ACL for my tardiness in posting, I would have to admit that it was not only me hobbling around that caused the delay, but also had a lot to do with the fact we had two Talon weddings and a bachelorette party this weekend. Yes…love is in the air at Talon!
But…thanks for all of your thoughts and prayers. While the knee is definitely annoying, I am more bummed because I was really looking forward to getting back to competing with such a wonderful community of people. I will of course be at the different sites each week with my team, Talon AF (Always Finishes), who is actively looking for a female sub each week…lol! Please let us know if you know anyone that is interested, and I look forward to watching you all set some new PR’s this season!
